The Gray Television Washington News Bureau reports on hyper-local news from our nation’s capital for Gray Television’s markets across the country.
Our team of multimedia journalists, producers, and photojournalists covers 260 members of Congress. We also report regularly from the White House and the Supreme Court when there is a story of local interest.
Washington Bureau Chief Jacqueline Policastro created the Bureau with just a camera and computer in 2014.
As the number of Gray TV stations has grown, so has our Washington News Bureau. In 2017, the company opened a state-of-the-art newsroom and studio on Capitol Hill that gives our team easy access to the lawmakers we cover and the ability to report live directly to any of our stations.
Our team localizes national stories and brings local issues to the national spotlight. Politicians know that when they talk to our reporters, they have a direct line of communication to their constituents watching our powerhouse Gray TV stations.
