WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- Our local senators are sounding off after President Donald Trump announced Friday afternoon that a deal was reached to reopen the federal government.

The president said he would soon sign a bill to fund the government through Feb. 15 without additional money for his signature campaign promise of a border wall.

The government has been under a partial shutdown since December 22
