Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS) joins chorus of dissatisfied Republicans despite access to inquiry testimony

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS) sits on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, one of the six committees charged with heading up the impeachment inquiry in the House. Guest, like many of his Republican colleagues, is upset that many of the depositions and hearings in the inquiry are happening "behind closed doors". As of now, relevant committee members, both Republican and Democrat, have access to the hearings and depositions that are taking place in private, with members from all sides of the aisle having the ability to ask questions and take notes.

Guest says he thinks everyone in the American public should be able to hear questioning and testimony from the relevant people in this ongoing inquiry. Wednesday, a group of Republican congressman delayed a House Intel deposition by storming the secure room where it was taking place to show their dissatisfaction with how House Democrats are handling the impeachment inquiry.
