Fight for North Dakota Senate seat, at-large House seat coming down to the wire

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- One of the most closely watched races across the country - the one between incumbent Democratic Senator Heidi Heitkamp and Republican Congressman Kevin Cramer. It’s a seat political expert Gary Nordlinger says Democrats would love to keep in their control if they hope to steal a majority in the U.S. Senate. But he says the popular Republican challenger’s fierce campaign has his party poised to pick up a seat in a deep red state, especially after Heitkamp voted “no” on Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
