WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- Congressman Ralph Abraham (R-LA) is considering a running for governor of Louisiana.
Thursday afternoon Abraham said, "We haven't definitely made our mind up to run, but if you ask me today, we probably are running."
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) is also publicly weighing whether to run for governor, and is expected to formally announce a decision next Monday.
Abraham said, "John's [Kennedy] decision is John's, mine's my decision. But again what we want is a better Louisiana."
Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards (D-LA) is up for re-election next year.
