“There’s some pretty radical ideas that they’ve already been touting, so it’ll be interesting to see how they’re going to defend them,” said the Senator.

The Senator sent well wishes to both former Gov. John Hickenlooper and current Sen. Michael Bennet. He said it will be interesting to see how they distinguish themselves from one another--and the other candidates.

“Obviously, you have an executive role and a legislative role and I think that’s already going to be a big difference you can already see the conversations they’ve had with each other,” he said.

This is the first time the Presidential hopefuls will square off in the crowded field of Democratic candidates. Ten candidates will take center stage on June 26, and the line-up includes Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and former Congressman Beto O’Rourke. The second night will feature the other ten candidates, including front-runner and former Vice President Joe Biden, and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

The debates will be held in Miami, Florida on Wednesday and Thursday.
