WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- Milwaukee Brewers first baseman is the top seed in Monday evening's Home Run Derby at Nationals Park.
Aguilar has hit a National League-leading 24 home runs in the first half of the season.
Aguilar said, “I just think about trying to put on a good show, to be a champion too for Wisconsin, they support me.”
The Brewers slid into the All-Star break losing six straight games, Aguilar said the break could help the team reset.
Aguilar said, “The second half is coming, it’s right there. We got like four day off, it’s going to be good mentally for everybody. And then you know we going to be alright, we going to be alright. Those things happen, and we got to go through. ”
