Arkansas senators trying to address historic flooding from afar

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) -- Historic flooding has Arkansas' senators looking for any recovery help they can find in Washington. Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and John Boozman (R-AR) say it is still early in the process, but they are hopeful an abundance of resources will be sent to the state to help in recovery.

Boozman is concerned for everyone in his state, particularly farmers who are trying to plant crop. Cotton says he hopes a recently passed massive disaster relief package can apply to his state. The legislation that just passed the House is awaiting President Trump's signature.
