A North Carolina native, Jon Sarver Jr. joined Local News Live in Washington, DC in April of 2023 after spending two years as a producer at WITN, a Gray Television station in Greenville, North Carolina. Prior to working at WITN, Sarver graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in Fall 2020.
