Arizona’s Rep. Grijalva tests positive for COVID-19

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) has announced he tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
The 72-year-old congressman shared the news on social media. He says he is asymptomatic at this time.
His spokesperson told the Gray Television Washington News Bureau that Grijalva went into self-isolation on Wednesday after learning Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Teaxs) tested positive. He and Gohmert both attended a Natural Resources Committee meeting together on Tuesday, according to the spokesperson.
Grijalva received a rapid test and was informed Friday evening by the attending physician at the U.S. Capitol that he tested positive.
The congressman will remain isolated in his Washington, D.C. apartment.
